Above the roofs of Berlin a new living standard is being created
They are, without question, currently the most fashionable architects in Germany: the four architects from Graft with studios in Berlin, Los Angeles and Beijing have building projects all around the world. The fact that Hollywood star Brad Pitt is numbered among their clients added to their fame. They actually don’t need this type of publicity, because their work alone is spectacular enough. Their own interpretation of architecture and space, which is based not on contrasts, but rather on fusion, has contributed to their reputation. The result is room arrangements that do without visible transitions.
Flowing forms dominate the interior of the three loft apartments, which the architects from Graft have designed and built for the project 'Future e-living' in Berlin. They managed to create a harmonious separation between the generous open living room and the more intimate retreat areas like the bedrooom and bathroom. Adapted to a “room within a room”, one can choose whether to take a bath in private or open it to the living room. Dirk Fabarius, who developed and implemented the concept 'Future e-living' says: “Treating the bathroom as part of the living area of the house is a very large part of our project, which aims to make living an exciting experience. With this particular Graft room concept and the matching Axor collections, we created a true oasis retreat which significantly contributes to our new living standards.”
