The Bathroom in the Dialog of Cultures
Axor presents the latest AquaTektur book

The book on the third AquaTektur-Workshop for the Axor brand has been released. Hansgrohe AG’s designer brand presents the results and projects from this workshop on 170 pages, including sketches, thoughts, and collages on the subject of the bathroom and architecture from ten renowned architects from the Middle East and Central Europe who accepted Axor’s invitation to the third AquaTektur-Workshop in November 2004. Following the first two workshops held in Cuba, Beirut was the scene of events this time for the intense dialog regarding the "water-space-human relationship”. The center of Arabian bathing culture served as a source of inspiration for a creative exchange along the lines of the motto “The bathroom in the dialog between cultures”.

Participants in the third AquaTektur-Workshop:
Jørgen Bach (Arkitema K/S, Århus), Gilles Desèvedavy (R&Sie…, Paris), Yasmine Mahmoudieh (mahmoudieh design/mahmoudieh concepts, Berlin), Suzette Ricciotti (Agence Rudy Ricciotti Architecte, Bandol), Sonja Wright (wrightassociates, Munich), Ana Corberó (Ana Corberó Painting, Sculpture & Design, Beirut), Nabil Gholam and Aram Yeretzian (nabil gholam architecture & planning, Beirut), Ahmet Igdirligil (Sans Mimarlik, Bodrum), Simone Kosremelli (Simone Kosremelli Architects, Beirut), Maha Nasrallah (Maha Nasrallah Architect, Beirut)
